Salmo 6 Description
1 Lord, do not punish me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath.
2 Mercy, Lord, for I am fainting! Heal me, Lord, for my bones tremble:
3 my whole being shudders. How long, Lord, how long?
4 Turn, O LORD, and deliver me; save me because of your loyal love.
5 Whoever died does not remember you. Among the dead, who will praise you?
6 I'm exhausted from moaning. From so much crying I flood my bed at night; with tears I soak my bed.
7 My eyes are consumed with grief; they fail because of all my adversaries.
8 Get away from me, all you evildoers, for the Lord has heard my cry.
9 The Lord has heard my supplication; the Lord accepted my prayer.
10 All my enemies will be humiliated and terrified; frustrated, they will withdraw suddenly.
