Fiqih Safar Description
This Android application is an Explanation About the Purpose of Fiqh Safar by Ahmad Sarwat, Lc., MA. In PDF format.
Fiqh Safar
There are several reasons why we discuss traveler fiqh, including:
First: now we are in the holiday period, where many of us maybe even ourselves who take advantage of this holiday by becoming travelers. Therefore, of course, we must deepen and complete our provisions in terms of the concept of fiqh so that we are not mistaken in living it.
Second: traveling is unique from a legal point of view, namely being one of the 'illat which relieves some taklif such as in matters of thaharah, prayer, fasting and others. However, unlike other 'illat-illat, it turns out that this journey has changed its character with the changing times.
In the past, safar was carried out with great difficulty, walking or riding a camel through the thick, endless sea of sand. There are so many risks and dangers that always lurk travelers.
They could have been robbed by robbers in the middle of the desert. Their property was confiscated and they were killed. Sometimes it can be more painful, namely not being killed but being made into slaves and sold at a cheap price, as was experienced by the Prophet Yusuf alaihissalam.
Then a group of travelers came, and they ordered a water fetch, so he lowered the bucket, he said: "Oh; good news, it's a young man!" Then they hid him as merchandise. And Allah is Aware of what they do. (QS. Yusuf: 19)
